This fall, Church x City Counseling is inviting Charlotte to meet our neighbors’ hardest seasons with
affordable, faith-centered counseling. And thanks to a $50,000 matching gift, every
dollar you give right now goes twice as far. Register for the annual fundraiser and double your impact!
Why This Event Matters?
Since 2023, Church x City Counseling has partnered with the ForCLT network to reach more than 400 congregations and bring affordable, Biblically based counseling to families who need it most. Our mission is simple: to lead the way in uniting churches to affordable and accessible care for our city. Hats Off to Your Neighbor is how we say thank you to the community that makes that possible, create space to join us on this mission, and how we open the door wider for the neighbor still waiting for help. No heartache left untouched.

- $50 — Covers a client’s portion of a session, so cost is never what keeps them from coming back.
- $100 — Matches what a partner church puts toward a client’s session.
- $150 — Pays for one entire counseling session, start to finish.

Is my gift tax-deductible?
Yes. Church x City Counseling is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization EIN 93-3033023, and you’ll receive an email receipt immediately after giving.
How exactly does the match work?
[Donor name, or “A local partner”] has committed up to $50,000 to match every gift to Hats Off to Your Neighbor, dollar for dollar, until that pool is claimed. There’s no minimum gift required to qualify.
I can't make it to the annual fundraiser — can I still give?
Absolutely. You can give online any time before, during, or after the event, and your gift is still matched while match funds remain.
Where exactly does the money go?
100% of funds raised go directly to counseling, crisis assistance, and church-staff care and training delivered through our network of partner churches across Charlotte.
