OUR STORY
Church x City Counseling began in November 2023 in response to the undeniable need for emotional and spiritual health in our community.
In partnership with the 400+ churches in the ForCLT network, Church x City Counseling is committed to providing Biblically integrated counseling to rebuild, restore and renew the city of Charlotte.

Rev. Mrs. Rebecca B. Woodman, MACC
Founder & Executive Director
After over 20 years both counseling and building the Care & Counseling ministry at Forest Hill Church, Rebecca felt the nudge to partner with churches around the city of Charlotte to help bring Biblically integrated counseling to as many people as possible.
She’s a Florida native, but has called North Carolina home since 2000. Rebecca has been married over two decades to her husband, John, and they have three daughters and one son.
Sara Beth Horton
Executive Assistant
Sara Beth is a Kentucky native, but moved to Charlotte a few years ago when she married her husband, Seth. Her background is in business, but after many years in a corporate setting she realized that she wanted to combine her talents with a fulfilling and purposeful mission. She is an advocate for mental health and loves being a part of the local church.
